KSAR is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides its services at no cost to the people of Kauai. Volunteers provide their own personal equipment. Team equipment and training costs are possible from grants and donations. The team is constantly in need of equipment, such as communication and safety equipment, and training by outside organizations to continue to provide high quality services.
